Walking to class
As I walked to and from class today, I began to notice something about everyone including myself. I noticed that the speed people walk is so much faster than a casual pace that you see in the mall. Think about it, since you've been to college, have your parents ever commented on how fast you walk when you're around them? I know mine have. After noticing this, I thought about why I walk fast. The main reasons are becuase I'm running late or the weather is bad and I want to get inside. Observing the frantic walking done by the students, on a day when the weather is good, I decided that they were either running late or just excited to get to class. Because I don't believe in the second comment, I would say that most students don't leave for class until the very last minute.

I have noticed this too. I definitely walk at a faster pace now because of college. I would say the reason I walk fast is definitely because I want to get to class on time if not a little bit early. I think we all walk fast because we feel like we are wasting time if we walk slower because we are college students which means we are busy busy busy!
ReplyDeleteActually, I have also started walking much faster than usual. The main reason for that is because I'm in a hurry to get to my class, because I don't want to be late. However, I've gotten so used to walking fast that I do it all the time without giving any thought to it.
